GENERAL DESCRIPTION
AREA: During the summer, La Rochelle is one of the most favourite area for the tourists. Its old city centre around the old harbour, the nearby yachting harbour, its fine sand beaches, like the Concurrence Beach, are a few examples of what is to discover there. Il de Ré (Ré island) with its nice beaches and its lovely flowered villages is only a short drive over the "Ile de Ré bridge" . Châtelaillon-Plage, a pretty small seaside resort is only 5 km away. Don't hesitate to rent bikes and simply go and discover this fabulous region!
